Proven Performance

This safe completion of this recent municipal infrastructure upgrade within Iqaluit’s downtown core created substantial value for the City of Iqaluit’s Utilidor network. This challenging rehabilitation project significantly increased the Utilidor’s sewer flow capacity as well as enhanced the hydraulic and thermal performance of the water distribution work.  Tower’s team safely executed the installation of these large trunk sewers at considerable burial depths (5m) within the City’s right of way in the downtown core. The project’s location required careful planning and execution to safely manage the traffic, pedestrians, and existing local water – sewer services which were being removed. Tower’s team focused on minimizing the impacts of construction to the local businesses and the public by maintaining clear communication with the public and individually accommodate the needs of the adjacent buildings and its tenants.
