Proven Performance

This ambitious initiative focused on extending the utilidor watermain along Federal Road, beginning at AV2 and stretching toward the North 40 community, with its final endpoint at the City of Iqaluit Operations Center near building 1549. By modernizing this critical infrastructure, the project aims to reliably extend serviceability limits and create a more resilient drainage infrastructure network.

The scope of work included the installation of approximately 250 metres of underground watermain and recirculation main along with four new access vaults.  Beyond these critical elements, the project also incorporated road reinstatement and drainage improvements, which were implemented to bolster the area’s infrastructure, improve accessibility, and reduce the risk of flooding during heavy rainfall events. Every aspect of the project was executed with precision and care, reflecting Tower Arctic’s dedication to delivering sustainable, high-quality solutions tailored to the unique needs of Iqaluit and its residents.
